Emerging ERP Solutions - Senior Manager
As a Workday Sr Manager at Deloitte, you will join an organization that has a sixteen year relationship with Workday leadership and more than nine years as a Global Alliance Partner. Our Emerging ERP Solutions team focuses on implementing cloud-based ERP and EPM applications such as Workday Financials & Adaptive Insights. This unique mix of technologies differentiate themselves from on-premise / cloud applications such as SAP and Oracle.
Work you'll do
Responsibilities will include:
- Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
- Delivery: Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. Responsibilities include, among others, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures.
- Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
- People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.
Qualifications
Required:
Senior Manager Workday/Adaptive Insights are required to have:
- 10+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
- 4+ years' experience overseeing multiple project teams
- Experience with Workday/Adaptive Insights and/or other leading Cloud based SaaS EPM applications (e.g. Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC, Cognos TM1, Host, Prophix, OneStream, etc.)
- Hands-on functional FP&A and Management Reporting knowledge - Budgeting, Accounting, Financial and Management Reporting, and Workforce Planning
- Travel up to 50% (While 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future, or limited sponsorship may be available.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
Preferred:
- Senior experience with a market leading consulting organization
- Workday Adaptive Insights certification
- Proven skills as a project manager on multiple full life cycle implementations.
- Understanding and knowledge of financial applications, architectures, general knowledge of trends with leading and emerging financial technology vendors and solutions
- Demonstrated knowledge or interest in emerging digital technologies shown through either knowledge, experience or academic exposure, including Cognitive, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Natural Language Processing, Visualizations, and Predictive Analytics
- Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
- Ability to engage and manage senior-level client relationships
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
- Willingness to mentor junior staff.
