We are seeking a WCHQ Director of Performance Measurement and Analytics to:

  • Assure consistent, timely, efficient, accurate and effective reporting of performance measures via the WCHQ website.
  • Develop and communicate benchmarking analysis results and reports in support of WCHQ’s practice transformation mission, service contracts, and grant projects.
  • Assure consistent, timely, efficient, accurate and effective provision and communication of performance measurement analysis results, reports, and analytic capabilities among all stakeholders, both internal and external.

Education :
Minimum – Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Health Systems Administration, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or closely related field.
Preferred – Master’s prepared candidates in a relevant field are preferred.

Work Experience :
Minimum – Five years professional experience in performance measurement, analytics, and their related applications, with three years of management in these areas.
Preferred – Seven or more years professional experience in performance measurement, analytics, and their related applications, in a healthcare provider setting, with five years of management in these areas.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities :

  • Thorough knowledge of computer systems and the ability to effectively utilize software applications including spreadsheet development, database development and management, business intelligence systems, and data warehousing.
  • Experience working with data captured by health care information systems, including electronic health record and billing systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal relations skills promoting teamwork and collaborative alliances
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong ability to apply the principles and practices of cost accounting, financial analysis, and cost/productivity/resource benchmarking
  • Ability to work effectively and independently manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex issues and problems
  • Ability to initiate and follow through on complex programs of both short and long term duration

Physical Requirements :
Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.

W ork Schedule :
This is a full time Monday thru Friday position working primarily 8-5pm with some flexibility in start/end times based on candidate preference and workload.
