Water / Wastewater Operator Genesee Water & Sanitation District The Genesee Water and Sanitation District has an opening for a District Operator. Genesee Operators receive extensive training and support for career development/advancement, work in one of the most beautiful settings in the metro area, work regular daytime hours (no shift work), and become professionals in Water and Wastewater operations as well as Distribution and Collection systems operations and maintenance. Highly competitive pay and excellent benefits package $41,000 minimum for entry level Trainee/Operator 1 (no licenses or experience required) Industry experience is a plus, but is not required. Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED, must have a valid Colorado Drivers License, acceptable history, and must maintain throughout employment. Position requires pre-employment background check and all operators must live within an acceptable distance of Genesee for emergency and on-call response time. Must be able to work any hours necessary, and will work rotating weekends, on-call schedules and holidays. Must be physically capable of performing all duties required of a Genesee W&SD Operator. Position also requires providing excellent customer service.
