Operates and supports a water treatment system at the different location sites meeting local, state and federal regulations. Operates equipment to fulfill requirements of water and/or waste water operations. Performs all work within safety guidelines established by local, state and federal agencies as well as company policies.Collects water and/or waste water samples in accordance with quality assurance programs and applicable environmental regulations.Test samples and adjust equipment and chemical flow rate as required to ensure water quality is in compliance.Diagnoses equipment failures.Performs routine and preventative maintenance on equipment as well as routine repairs as necessary.Compiles and maintains relative records as required. High School or equivalent plus required state license. Must have a valid driver's license. 2 - 4 years experience. Strong reading, writing and math skills. Must have basic knowledge of wastewater operations. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.May need to access files, supplies and equipment.When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.May need to climb ladders.
