Duties include responsibility for organizing domestic and international shipments, scheduling deliveries and the loading and unloading of trucks, including preparing necessary paperwork. Receives and distributes raw materials as required to maintain shipping process at all locations. Responsible for inventory reconciliation including performing physical counts. Organizes warehouse for maximum efficiency including maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Competency Statement(s) Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Experience: Requires 1 year warehouse/shipping /receiving experience. Equivalent Fujimi experience will be considered. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and a working knowledge of inventory management systems (Dynamic SL is desired). 1 year forklift experience. DOT training or successful completion of DOT training within 2 months is required. Will be trained on the following: 49CFR (DOT) - Shipments using Ground Transportation in the United States. How to safely transport hazardous materials by ground in the United States. IMDG - Shipments using Ocean (vessel) Transportation. How to safely transport hazardous materials by vessel IATA - Shipments using Air Transportation. Also known as ICAO. How to safely transport hazardous materials by air Hazardous Waste Handling – This is OJT training as needed.
