Employment Type : Full-Time

The Shipper is responsible for the shipping of orders from Distribution Center including preparation of accompanying paperwork, staging orders for pick-up., weighing and labeling orders, operation of UPS and Federal Express meters, and other Distribution Center duties as required.

Coaching and training for this position are provided and coordinated by the Distribution Center Manager.

Skills:

1. Must be able to read and understand written instructions and follow both written and oral instructions without deviation and to request clarification when needed.

2. Warehouse/distribution related experience preferred but not required.

3. Ability to work efficiently and accurately at a steady pace in a busy atmosphere with frequent interruptions.

4. Ability to understand, cope with, and solve problems relevant to area or responsibility.

5. Ability and reliability to work independently without close supervision.

6. Ability to concentrate and give continuous close attention to job.

7. Ability to work as a part of a team.

8. Must be able to push a 2-wheel dolly and use a pallet jack.

9. Ability to accurately operate a computer, Federal Express and UPS meters.

10. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
