Warehouse Operator

Cambria - Orlando, FL

Employment Type : Full-Time

This position is responsible for sorting hold area slabs, selecting slabs for fabrication, and moving slabs to the necessary line location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for stocking racks using a sit down forklift & boom ensuring that safety standards are met
• Communicate with Warehouse Lead or DC Manager when questions/problems arise
• Communicate with Warehouse Lead or DC Manager in regards to Final Inspection of material defects and inventory levels
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers with products of varying size and weight
• Check product when unloading and loading
• Keep work area clean and free of clutter
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Adhere to all safety requirements and (SOP)
• Assist other employees when time allows
• Other duties as defined by management

• Knowledge of the use of handheld scanners
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)

Minimum Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: Twelve (12) months experience and/or training as a warehouse operator, forklift & Boom experience a must

Systems: Knowledge of ERP systems

Additional Requirements:

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time, must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, ability to work in a dusty and non-climate controlled environment
