Warehouse Associate

If you have a strong work ethic and sense of urgency, we want to talk with you! BroadRange Logistics is growing and we have an immediate need for great warehouse associates in Atlanta!

Responsibilities:

· Load and unloading trucks and checking in merchandise

· Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area

· Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards

· Receive and open bales, crates and other containers, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately

· Counts physical inventory

· Prepare parcels for mailing

· Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

· Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures

· Monday to Friday with occasional overtime as needed- adding shifts

· Perform other duties as assigned

Experience/ Qualifications:

· High School diploma or equivalent preferred

· 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred

· Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and be Baseloid friendly and other warehouse equipment

· Forklift Certification

· Ability to move, lift heavy products

· Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills

· Dependable and Reliable

· Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required

· Able to interface with all levels of staff and management.

· Excellent customer service skills

· Excellent organizational skills

· Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Work Environment

· Position will be performed in a warehouse environment which requires the ability to stand for multiple hours a day in a facility that is exposed to altering degrees of cold and heat.

· Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear

· Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects 25-75 lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.

· Requires the use of hands to handle objects and merchandise

· Requires the ability to stock shelves by climbing ladders or stairs; able to bend, twist, stoop, reach and lift/move inventory

· Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

· Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Pay and Benefits

· Pay will be based on previous experience

Job Duties:

• Load and unload trucks
• Follow current good warehousing practice
• Receive/process shipments
• Perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures
