Job Summary
Due to tremendous growth, we have immediate openings for full-time Shipping and Receiving workers at our Elk Grove Village location. This position involves working in a two-person team, receiving and stocking product, along with pulling, packaging and loading orders in preparation for shipment. Daily and weekend overtime may be required based upon production schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Unloading of various materials from company, vendor and common carrier trucks
• Verify receipt and enter counts in proprietary ERP system
• Stock products in predetermined locations throughout the warehouse
• Accurately pull material for customer orders from Bill of Ladings
• Package material in preparation for pick-up or shipment
• Participate in monthly inventory counts
• Assisting in variety of other actions necessary to support production
• Handling and packaging of architectural doors and frames
• Sorting and storage of inventory
• Cleaning and organizing of the warehouse
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to safety perform tasks and adherence to all safety polices and procedures are essential functions of the job

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to safety operate machinery necessary for the movement of material through the warehouse
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work and deliveries
• Good verbal and written communications skills and math aptitude
• Available to work OT on a consistent basis, including Saturdays, as needed
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Physical Requirements

• Sufficient manual dexterity to maneuver large sheets of product
• Visual acuity to observe abnormalities within product or packaging materials
• Frequent bending, twisting, walking and reaching
• Physical ability to push, pull, lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs. on a continuous basis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with climate conditions of the region (Heat, cold, humidity, etc.)
