We are currently looking for a VTC Operator to be part of a dynamic team to support the G2 Army MI Enterprise which provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems. This position will be based at the Pentagon. In this position, you will have a chance to expand and your skills while working with a diverse and dynamic team.

As a VTC Operator you will plan, design, and evaluate VTC networks and recommend solutions to support, maintain, and repair client’s audio-visual and video conferencing networks and systems. This includes maintaining, distributing, installing, configuring, repairing, and upgrading various electronic products while ensuring their optimal performance as well as doing adjustments and VC configuration changes. The selected candidate will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion and assist technicians where required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and deliver required audio-visual service levels according to customer policies and user requirements.

  • Provide analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex AV and VC hardware problems and networks for customer and recommend and implement corrective solutions.

  • Develop processes to effectively troubleshoot AV and VC issues onsite and over the phone.

  • Ensure stability of teleconferencing & video conferencing equipment, networks and other presentation equipment.

  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, walkups, and/or e-mails regarding AV and VC software/hardware problems.

  • Document instances of AV equipment failure, repair, installation, and removal.

  • Troubleshoot AV issues using the appropriate testing tools.

  • Provide periodic audit of inventories to mitigate risk of damage or theft.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of overall related video teleconferencing experience. Additional training, relevant certification, and/or years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • Currently possess any one of the following qualifications: Cisco Video Network Specialist, Cisco TelePresence Solutions Specialist, Polycom RealPresence, Polycom RealPresence Infrastructure, SONY VTC, and/or other relevant certification.

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active DoD 8570 certification at IAT I - A+, Network+ or Security

Pay Range: Pay Range $52,650.00 - $81,000.00 - $109,350.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
