The Vice President of Sales oversees daily sales activity, leads a sales team, meets with major clients, draws up sales reports, designs new and more effective sales strategies, and works to market and promote company products and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Lead the residential sales team and category for the assigned region.
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Partner with customers to understand their needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Increasing client base and revenue penetration with existing and new properties.
- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
- Writing business proposals.
- Negotiating with stakeholders.
- Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
- Drafting and reviewing contracts
- Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
- Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position against competitors
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to legally drive and provide own transportation to various locations in organizational
