How you will contribute
Red Canary is hiring a field and channel marketing leader with deep expertise in global field marketing, channel marketing, and global events teams, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. This role encompasses regional marketing worldwide, and in the future the US Federal regions, channel and technology alliances partner marketing, and global customer, industry, and internal events.
You are a leader, demand generation expert and a story-teller who has expertise developing strategic field and channel marketing programs. You are passionate about partnering with sales and within marketing to develop effective regional marketing programs for direct and channel sales. You’re not bound to the confines of a job description and know that you may play many roles in getting our stories out to prospective customers.
You will partner closely with the regional field and channel sales teams to define and execute in-region programs tied to revenue goals, including but not limited to regional and local events, account based marketing programs, and partner joint marketing programs. How We Will Measure Your Success- Build and lead the Red Canary field and channel marketing team
- Design regional marketing mix and regionalize marketing programs as needed for account penetration
- Monitor, report and design ABM activities based on buyer intent information from 6Sense to Sales, Marketing and Customer Success
- Partner closely with the regional field and channel sales teams to define and execute in-region programs tied to revenue goals, including but not limited to regional and local events, account based marketing programs, and partner joint marketing programs
- Partner with the content and growth marketing teams to feed regional objectives and targets into marketing programs
- Provide field intelligence back to the rest of the marketing organization on partner prioritization and what’s working/not working/needed
Experience and Aptitude- Demonstrable experience partnering with the sales team, providing marketing expertise to help them achieve their revenue goals versus administrative sales support
- You are a full stack marketer with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to lead field marketing team’s that generate demand and revenue
- You can articulate the value of ABM programs for in-region marketing and explain how your team’s use and optimize ABM technology
- Understanding of how to stand out in an extremely crowded and noisy market
- Belief that every program and budget dollar has a purpose and can be measurably tied back to value to the business
- A natural storyteller and enjoy building enthusiasm, loyalty, and advocacy with our customers and partners
- Think about your role as a problem solver – you are in the trenches alongside our sales team helping them solve some of the hardest challenges they will face in the field
- A sense of urgency and desire to work and win with a team of smart, hard working and nice people
- Metrics driven and know how to build programs and tie them back to pipeline development goals
- Ability to build a strategic plan and clearly tie program execution up to the strategy
