We’ve been focusing on consumer and pro-electronics (smartphones, home theater, soundbars, computer monitors, 8K/4K UHD TVs) with in-store videos, commercials, marketing and training materials, web support, POP and on-site events. Other accounts include beach bars, health care and motorsports photography for sanity.
As a Producer/Writer/Visualizer for Kollins, this position will be working on day-to-day account management, responsible for managing projects from start to finish with hands-on involvement.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training and other enterprise-wide projects
- Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects
- Work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables
- Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
- Plan videography: scout, select and reserve locations
- Develop production schedules
- Coordinate additional crew and talent; direct and coach talent; manage logistics arrangements for crew, talent and equipment
- Manage projects from start to finish, serving as the primary point of contact between our internal teams and client/agency teams to ensure all deliverables are on message, track and within budget
- Manage budgets on each project to ensure healthy margins, identify potential risks to the business and/or projects and take preemptive actions to mitigate
- Thorough understanding of workflow for video and sound projects, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editorial, collaborating creation of static and motion graphics — a working knowledge of today's post-production flow.
- Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve suite of applications a real plus.
Skills and Experience Needed
- BA or BS degree required
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in an agency/production firm environment
- Demonstrated ability to work with little to no guidance and think outside the proverbial box
- Experience in juggling and prioritizing competing deadlines
- Proven success producing small- and large-scale projects
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to work face-to-face with client teams
- Extreme attention to detail
- Interest in all aspects of the production cycle
- Thick skin and a passion for achievement; humor helps
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
