Victim Services Supervisor Details

The Riverside County District Attorney's Office seeks a Victim Services Supervisor position located throughout Riverside County. The Victim Services Supervisor is the supervisory level classification in the Victim Services Advocate series and reports to the Victim Services Regional Manager. Incumbents are responsible for managing either the Victim Services or a Family Justice Center through subordinate Victim Services Advocate staff. Duties will include assigning and coordinating the work of Victim Advocates, clerical support staff, and volunteers providing a variety of support services to victims of crimes and witnesses. Additional duties will include performing the most difficult and complex cases, assignments of the victim/witness program; interviewing, counseling, assisting victims and witnesses, and data reporting.



The most competitive candidates will have experience supervising, training staff, crisis intervention, methods and counseling techniques, victim's rights and advocacy techniques.
