Vice President of Sales Details

Nuvolum, an integrated marketing and PR firm headquartered in San Francisco, is seeking a dynamic, top-performing sales executive to join our core leadership team as the Vice President of Sales.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact, client-facing role with internal ownership of account management and business enablement. Responsible for meeting/exceeding sales goals as well as driving all sales-related initiatives for the company, the Vice President of Sales for Nuvolum will build upon our already robust pipeline to match prospective clients with services that will best match their goals and drive results.

What You’ll Do:

For New Business:

  • Serve as thought and action leader for all stages of the sales pipeline
  • Ensure all sales strategies are aligned with the company’s strategic initiatives, objectives, and vision
  • Lead the sales components of the business in organizational planning, financial forecasting, and budgetary planning
  • Develop, coach, and manage a high performing sales and business development team to expand our portfolio of clients
  • Cultivate a culture of high performance, results-driven action to meet the company’s growth goals
  • Establish relationships with industry leaders that will lead to sales opportunities and new business

For Existing Business:

  • Build successful and trusted partnerships with our amazing portfolio of clients
  • Assist the Account Management team in driving inside sales initiatives, tailoring our services and campaigns to meet our clients’ needs and goals
  • Establish and oversee client retention targets
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Directors of Account Management and Implementation to ensure seamless hand-off between departments post-sale
Ideal candidates will have ALL of the following:
  • 10+ years progressively responsible experience leading the strategy and execution of company-wide sales initiatives or business development
  • 5+ years experience growing, managing, and scaling sales teams
  • Proven, in-depth expertise in growing sales pipelines with innovation and ingenuity as persistent foundations of its success
  • Outstanding track record of exceeding revenue and growth goals
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work in an interactive environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity and change
  • Work with a strong sense of urgency in a high-growth, fast-paced environment

This position is located in San Francisco with the potential to work occasionally remote from the larger San Francisco Bay Area.
