Yakima Valley College seeks an innovative full-time Veterinary Technology Instructor who is active and accomplished in their discipline, who has a record of successful industry experience and/or related teaching experience, and who is committed to community college students and their success. This is a full-time, special faculty (non-tenure track) position on a 9-month academic schedule from September through June, with an anticipated start of September 2021.
Reporting to the Dean of Workforce Education, the Veterinary Technology Instructor will have successful industry experience, must be able to develop equity-minded practices within an education environment, and demonstrates the strong promise of becoming a contributing member of the Workforce Education Division.
YVC offers opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, encourages cooperative learning, and uses technologies in the classroom and for e-learning. All faculty are engaged in the assessment of college goals and purposes.
