Sequoyah Animal Hospital is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic professionals to join our team. We are currently accepting applications for the RECEPTIONIST, position. The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic, be self-motivated and be a strong team player. We are a busy, growing clinic and we depend on our caring, compassionate and reliable staff to create a positive experience for our clients and patients.

Responsibilities of the receptionist include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, checking clients in and out, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, assisting technicians/doctors as needed, and front office and reception area maintenance.

Personal requirements include: Must be accountable, punctual and show up for work with a can-do, positive attitude, have a passion for excellence in animal care, and have a flexible schedule with availability on weekends and some holidays. Must be receptive to training with a positive team attitude.
