Mt. Hood Pet Medical is a very busy six doctor practice seeking a full time Veterinary Receptionist to joing our front office team. Prior veterinary receptionist experience is highly recommended.

Receptionists are a critical member of our team as they ar the fist and last point of contact for our clients. The right candidate must have a compassion for pets but most importantly for the families that care for them, by creating an environment that makes them feel special as soon as they call or walk through the door. We all work together as a team so this person must be capable of creating positive interaction with fellow team membrs and clients under all circumstances.

Our Receptionist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Exemplary customer service and client interaction
• Accurate invoicing, billing and cash drawer balancing
• Accurate computer data entry and medical chart preparation
• Scheduling appointments
• Present treatment plans and discharge patients
• Answering multiple phone lines-we have six
• Prioritizing a busy workflow while working with a diverse clientele
• Ability to multi task is a must as we are a very busy hospital
• Ability to learn quickly and retain information
• Computer skills are required as we are a paper lite hospital-Avimark knowledge is a plus!
• General cleaning duties

The position is comprised of a three to four day work week with Sundays and a rotating weekday off.

Applicants must be able to work every Saturday.

Shifts range from 8am-7pm during the week and 9am-5pm on Saturdays.

The position will average approximately 30-36 hours weekly.
