RSPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: Answer calls, texts, faxes or emails regarding companion pet care such as dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, small mammals; Set up appointments; Maintain written & electronic medical records; Present plans to pet parents; Assist pet parents @ visits; Assists exams, comfort & restrain pets during care, tests, treatments, x-rays, anesthesia, dental cleaning, surgeries, meds, payments, discharge of patients & communicating with pet parents. REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year at small animal practices. SKILLS REQUIRED: Multitasking, unrestricted full range of motion skills, skills to lift 30 pounds safely, excellent communication skills in English, team-player. EDUCATION required: Minimum U.S. high school diploma or GED. Pay rate negotiable per experience & education. JOB TRAINING: Prospective applicant will be invited to the on site job interview. Upon employment, the job training for 2 weeks & passing open-book quizzes are required, while working as a trainee employee. REQUIRED WORK HOURS: 8:30 AM- 6:30 PM Mon Tue Thu Fri or Sat; closed for lunch except for surgeries; flexible 2 days / week, alternating Saturdays, on site.
