Fluid allows people and businesses to connect their vehicles to our platform via Fluid Connect (a piece of hardware) that enables Fluid's mobile app to lock/unlock, track fuel/mileage, and mobilize the engine, making any vehicle easily rentable by other businesses and individuals. We enable businesses to dynamically scale up and down without having to take on more overhead, and we enable owners to generate cash from their existing assets and vehicles purchased for investment. We're facilitating more efficient utilization of vehicles around the country.


The Job - Vehicle Porter


Responsibilities include:


  • Onboarding new vehicles including attaching decals, installing telematics, printing plates and making sure insurance cards are in the vehicles.


  • Picking up and dropping off vehicles at various locations as needed.

  • Some minor vehicle maintenance including: replacing wiper blades, light bulbs, topping off fluids, cleaning vehicles and inspecting tires.

  • Recording vehicle inspection using mobile app


  • Coordinating maintenance/repairs with fleet manager


Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of automotive maintenance or related experience.
  • You must have a valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
  • Ok with working in an on-call setting
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs as needed
