UX Web Developer

Job Description:
- Perform website development and operations and maintenance (O&M) on Joomla, Talkabout, and SharePoint
- Manage website content and enable access to internal communication mechanisms (e.g. Joomla, Talkabout, SharePoint, and blogs)
- Engage on interactive and website development projects and provide recommendations on multimedia/communications design, content, and features based on the target consumer audience(s)
- Conduct focus groups and user testing to define requirements
- Develop interactive website conceptual wireframes and prototypes
- Design user interfaces (UI)
- Conduct website usability, accessibility, and functionality testing
- Gather periodic website metrics
- Rebuild Flash-based interactive elements
- Project documentation (including requirements definition, cost estimation, schedule, resource allocation in project plans) and proofs, productions files, cost analysis and reporting to meet or exceed project goals
- Articulate vision for meeting project objectives both in concept presentation and in writing, and collaborate with clients to develop effective solutions to meet their communication needs and exceed their expectations
- Daily records of time spent on tasks utilizing IPS-provided software
- Weekly report on projects status on Tuesday by noon utilizing reporting standards
- Participate actively, collaboratively and effectively in weekly team and project meetings with customers, management, technical staff and project team members to define requirements, identify issues, negotiate changes, manage production resources and meet deadlines
- Provide excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills to clients peers and management via effective oral and written correspondence
- Manage multiple complex projects concurrently, regularly independently, ensuring project goals are met or exceeded
- Develop structurally sound production files and effectively organize project assets, based on sponsor guidance
- Ensure project files are proofread by Government editor
- Conduct and participate in peer or Production Manager review of each project deliverable
- Provide project proofs for stakeholder review and approval prior to output/delivery
- Experience with Wordpress/Talkabout developer
- Ability to gather and develop requirements with customers
- TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
