Utility Dishwasher

Job Functions:

- Follows all Image and Appearance standards
- Monitors product supply and replenishes stock when necessary
- Cleans and sanitizes dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and storage racks, etc
- Communicates with chefs and managers of low product levels and equipment problems
- Removes dishes, glassware and silverware from bus tubs to prepare for cleaning
- Communicates with other Team Members to prioritize which dishes, pans, etc. need to be cleaned first
- Ensures that dishes, glassware, silverware, and kitchen items are clean and sanitized
- Sorts clean silverware, glassware and dishes
- Ensures that clean supplies are available at all times
- Organizes and straightens dry storage and walk-in refrigerator
- Cleans and sanitizes work stations, utensils, floors, floor mats, dumpsters, and equipment
- Transports boxes and trash bags from kitchen, dish area, etc., to dumpsters
- Distributes trash cans to kitchen, dish area, etc.
- Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and other areas
- Assist Chef in portioning, prepping, an cooking as needed
- Assists other employees as needed
- Demonstrate a helpful, positive attitude at all times to guests and employees
- Understand and adhere to all safety, sanitation, and administrative procedures
- Provide complete and timely communication to other employees throughout the shift
- Is prepared to conduct weekly maintenance duties
- Complete all assigned tasks and duties requested by managers
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to work Late Night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM – 3AM
- Works assigned scheduled shifts
- Food handling certificate required
- Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs. to waist level
- Able to move items up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 25 feet
- Remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift
- Able to tolerate prolonged exposure to cold and hot temps (below 40° F and above 140° F)
- Able to hear, understand, and respond to requests in a loud environment
- Able to tolerate exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals several times throughout shift.
- Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
