The UX Lead is an important role that communicates with stakeholders, leads design process and execution, helps the team manage artifacts, and drives relentless improvement across their organization.RESPONSIBILITIES· Assess the maturity of the design team and their process, coaching the team to higher levels of maturity. · Overall responsible for creating a well-organized, value-driven framework for implementing sturdy UX design, standards to contribute to our internal design system, best practices, and guidelines enterprise wide. · Lead workshops to answer critical business questions through design thinking, rapid prototyping, and testing ideas with customers. · Lead the product vision by researching, journey mapping, storyboarding, prototyping, and designing elegant solutions. · Lead internal and external teams in UX/UI development, ensuring adherence to our framework, standards, best practices and guidelines. · Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and Mobility Solutions to develop a core understanding of user personas and user journeys. · Engaging in portfolio prioritization to help set the strategy and product road map for the team. · Building and leading successful teams through career development by mentoring, coaching, and elevating others · Guiding team members in strategy, research, alignment, analysis, design critiques, and design execution tasks · Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features. · Establish user research methods (qualitative and quantitative), gather in-depth insights into the user’s needs and motivations, and make decisions based on metrics. · Establish and maintain standards on customer engagements and user feedback loops. · Establish and maintain quality standards within an organization that are adhered to and best practice and promote throughout the organization. · Responsible for internal and external communication, evangelizing UX, improving transparency, and radiating information. QUALIFICATIONS · Minimum of 7 years’ experience in UX design. · Minimum of 2 years’ experience in leading UX/UI development teams · Minimum of 1 year of experience leading and delivering quality design work in dynamic, diverse, fast paced environment across multiple projects on schedule. · Experience leading small- to-medium-sized teams · Proven ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes and solutions and be a design thought leader within an organization. · Proven ability to create and apply personas, user journeys, user-centered design and interaction design principles, UX best practices and heuristics. · Significant experience designing and delivering world-class digital experiences · Experience guiding more junior team members through User Experience fundamentals in a professional setting · User-centric design approach that involves rapid testing and iteration of designs · Expertise in industry tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, Miro, Google Analytics, and the like is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are required. · Expertise in Atomic Design principles and proven ability to create and manage a multi-tier design library preferred. · A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent work experience. · Provide a design portfolio including case studies and samples of work.
