Position Summary.What you'll do. Engages in content teach-backs and co-facilitation of content with senior leaders; coordinating with store and market leadership by providing insight on talent potential and feedback on succession plans; providing weekly leadership feedback to market level leadership and store managers on Conducts facilitation audits on all Academy roles; conducting monthly One Best Way consistency tours in Academy stores with store leadership to provide risk assessment to market level leaders; ensuring One Best Way adherence in the area of the store aligned to class content. Supports the adoption of structure and change initiatives through engaging with associates within home and assigned stores; educating associates on change initiatives through classroom training and virtual classroom facilitation. Supports Academy stores outside of class delivery time by providing customer service, assisting in the execution of store processes and executing tour to teach. Assistant Manager Trainees and Coaches attending training
Participates in content development and reviews to provide feedback and suggestions to the Learning Content Development team; Conducting assessment reviews in partnership with the Learning Content Development team to validate accuracy of content.
Conducts training classes in accordance with the block schedule by executing activities as designed; completing additional activities as indicated (for example, monitoring Virtual Reality training utilization, overnight teaching, end of day activities) across multiple Academy locations, including virtually; Staying informed on changes in store processes by working with associates and leaders within their home store.
Delivers training to store-level associates through Regional-level leadership by leveraging different modalities (for example, Academy Connect, VR, future technology); implementing and supporting training for specialty and change initiatives.
Conducts visits within stores in assigned area to ensure classroom learnings are translating to expected performance of store processes and reports to store and market level leadership; engaging regularly with Academy trainers throughout assigned area providing additional training and following
up on Academy Trainer task completions.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for
and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity byimplementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
Successful completion of a firearms- specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training (if applying for a position in a store that sells firearms).
State issued Certificate of Eligibility (if applying for a position in a store that sells ammunition).
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).Preferred Qualifications.
