Job Description: UMKC/SourceLink is looking for a skilled full-time Web Developer (Programmer Analyst) who has a passion for developing web applications. This position will be developing new experiences for our tools, maintaining existing web applications and supporting the end-users who rely on the tools. You will be collaborating within a team setting with other developers, stakeholders, managers, and end-users.


Duties: The position will use software such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, and GitHub, along with business intelligence and data analysis software, content workflow software, CRM software, data base reporting and management system software, among others, to develop, create, and modify computer applications software. Modify existing software to correct errors and allow it adapt to new hardware and to improve its performance; analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; develop and direct software testing and validation procedures; confer with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and get information on project limitations and capabilities, and performance requirements and interfaces; store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements; prepare data for analysis; and assess data base performance. The position will also use Object oriented C#/.NET programming & .NET frameworks; MSSQL programming with stored procedures and triggers; JavaScript including common frameworks and libraries; website development, database design, report design and debugging using SQL Server Reporting Services. This position will be responsible for creating and developing software to collect entrepreneurial metadata, business growth statistics, and interaction details for individuals starting or growing a business. Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related Engineering field and 4 years of experience with the following: Object oriented C#/.NET programming & .NET frameworks; MSSQL programming experience with stored procedures and triggers; JavaScript experience including common frameworks and libraries; website development, database design, report design and debugging; and 2 years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services.
