Our Ultrasound department is seeking an Ultrasound Supervisor for a weekday shift. This position will have on-call responsibilities as well. What you will do:As the Ultrasound Supervisor you will perform diagnostic procedures with the use of Ultrasound, with protocols outlined by the radiologist.

You will be responsible for training of new employees.

You will have overall supervision of the ultrasound department. You will operate diagnostic equipment, processes images, and prepare room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. You will be responsible for selecting proper technical factors, producing diagnostic quality images, and competent in the operation of equipment. You may also assist physicians when needed during invasive procedures. Other duties include, but are not limited to, clerical, scheduling, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning and anything deemed necessary by the medical imaging management team. Proficiency in performing invasive procedures and oversight of DHEC/ACR requirements are also priority.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an AMA approved Ultrasound school. RVT or RDMS registry.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: RDMS or RVT certified or ARRT with Ultrasound requirements met, BLS upon hire – American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Experience: Five years of Ultrasound Technologist experience preferred.
