General DescriptionProvides a supervised and structured environment for students involved in the In-School-Detention (ISD) program. Work involves ensuring safety and order of the students assigned to the ISS program. Requires the ability to tutor and supervise students, particularly in a disciplinary setting and to handle sensitive and difficult situations and students. Responsible for following teacher-assigned schoolwork. Performs routine work independently of supervision. High School diploma, training, or experience sufficient to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Demonstrated ability to tutor and supervise students, particularly in a disciplinary setting and to handle sensitive and difficult situations and students. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, teachers, parents and staff and to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to work independently and assume responsibility without direct supervision; to prioritize work and to follow oral and written instructions.Requirements
