Louws Truss Inc is currently hiring for a Truss Designer to join our team at our Ferndale and Burlington WA offices. This is a great opportunity for anyone with interest or experience in architecture, engineering or the residential and commercial construction field.

Qualifications:
We desire candidates who are self-motivated, have strong math skills and are able to visualize in 3D. Some experience reading blueprints or work in AutoCAD or other 3D modeling software is a plus, but not required.

The ideal person in this position will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively via phone, email and in person with a professional and friendly demeanor, and work in a team environment. Candidates must be punctual, and have a cheerful willingness attitude to take on new tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Truss Designers are responsible for providing truss takeoffs and finished designs for residential and commercial projects throughout Washington State. They work closely with builders, architects, and engineers to ensure loading and design criteria conform to the exact specifications of each project. Louws Truss utilizes industry specific training courses and accreditation to get new designers up to speed quickly. This is a full-time position; Monday – Friday
