Job Summary: An intermediate-level clerical position requiring experience with data entry and/or verification support to a task, project, contract, or division. Performs a full range of coding, data entry, scanning, mail sorting or other supportive activities from more than one source document; corrects errors and/or inputs missing information by following established policies.
- Full-time position beginning at 3:00 AM EST
Responsibilities:
- Verifies data entry for accuracy and completeness
- Transcribes data from working source document by selecting proper screen for each job according to established guidelines. May perform data coding prior to data entry
- Processes client documents in compliance with detailed indexing policies and procedures
- Monitors scanning process for errors or product failures and report problems to the appropriate source
- Consolidates and match information from more than one original document
- Operates alphanumeric keyboard for data entry
- Checks for erroneous items or codes and missing information and corrects according to established procedures
- Performs other repetitive tasks such as processing, scanning, mail sorting or similar activities required to support business operations
- Works under direct supervision and work is closely checked
Essential Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent plus 1 - 3 years of data entry experience
- Ability to accurately enter alphanumeric data at a minimum rate of 140 kpm
- Manual office skills
- Ability to use PC, keyboard or other data entry devices. Microsoft Office skills required
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of scanning and other Transactional processes
