Position Overview

As the Training Specialist, you will work with Zones internal teams as well as external partners to design, develop, and deliver high quality, effective, impactful, and engaging training courses (primarily e-learning) that help Zones' internal sellers to achieve their goals by equipping them with how to sell our major partners’ products and services for the customers. This is an excellent opportunity for you to own and launch a new training program initiative end-to-end that could directly impact and maximize Zones’ bottom line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a series of e-learning courses with help from internal teams and external partners, that are consumed by broad Zones’ internal sales teams, focusing on how to sell partner’s products and services. This is a new initiative as the Zones Marketing team, so you can initiate and set the tone with your best creativity and enthusiasm.
• Work on LMS (learning management system) to manage the delivery of the developed courses to the internal consumers, monitoring key consumption metrics.
• Establish and maintain the mechanism that drives higher consumption and effective ongoing engagement with Zones’ internal sales teams (training consumers) to ensure overall course effectiveness and partner ROI.

Requirements:

• 2+ years proven experience in e-learning training course design and development
• Proven experience in e-learning course development tools (i.e. Captivate)
• LMS experience (i.e. Absorb) preferred
• Experience in marketing, communications, or project management preferred
• IT industry (i.e. major IT manufacturer brands) experience preferred
• Detail-oriented with effective communication skills
• Customer-focused passion
• Results-driven, metrics oriented
• Proficiency in MS Office products
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly with a high degree of resilience
• Ability to prioritize, time manage, and multi-task with limited supervision and sometimes under time pressure
• Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience
