JOB DESCRIPTION
Toolroom Attendant
The Toolroom Attendant collects and disseminates information to and from other shifts, dispatches maintenance personnel, and maintains parts and supplies inventory. Accurate data entry is paramount in this busy office atmosphere. Work Monday through Friday on 2nd shift.
- Meet with previous shift personnel on maintenance and repair status
- Issue supplies through customer service window
- Organize, identifies, and labels parts inventory and tools
- Record parts and tools issued
- Data entry of PM sheets, work orders, and breakdown sheets
- Provide maintenance supervisors with operator notes
- Data entry of incoming and outgoing inventory to maintain accuracy of parts inventory and use
- Perform data entry of all purchase orders into MP2
- Answer telephone and conveys information to appropriate personnel
- Monitor radio and dispatches maintenance personnel to breakdowns
- Log all dispatches
- Print and distribute PM sheets weekly
- Invoice records approved and confirmed
- Tag parts to be sent out
- Good computer skills
- Complete paperwork and box parts being sent out
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Available for work the hours required for weekend shift
- Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
- Participate in daily production team meeting
- Work individually or with team members as assigned, maintaining a positive work environment
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Able to communicate on the radio system
- Good data entry skills
- Good computer skills
- Can work independently and with a team
- Good organizational and prioritization skills
- Good customer service skills
