POSITION SUMMARY: A Toolmaker Apprentice is responsible to support Class A and Class B toolmakers in mold cleaning, mold set-up tasks, and light machining. The person in this position is working through continued education to become a toolmaker. The Toolmaker Apprentice reports to the Toolroom Supervisor. Schedule: 2p-10p Monday-Friday Essential Functions SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Diploma/GED – with secondary education in the machine tool trades in-process or recently completed. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, CAD skills in process or completed.
Other Requirements: Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Good troubleshooting and mechanical skills. Ability to work safely and effectively within a team
