BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY Budget Analyst II Performs moderately complex (journey-level) budget preparation and analysis work for the Texas Military Department. Work involves planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluating of budgetary activities and performance measures. Work involves more than one fund source. Work involves preparing and analyzing operating budgets, appropriation requests, performance measures, compiling statistics and providing forecasting and assistance on budgetary matters. Reports to the Budget Manager. May assist in overseeing and monitoring budget and program performance. Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
