Primary Responsibilities:Perform routine tasks of cleaning and servicing guests’ accommodations such as rooms, suites, baths, lanais, breakfast bars, etc. according to resort standards and procedures.Replenish supplies, towels, etc. for guest rooms.
Essential Duties:
Clean guest rooms and lanais according to hotel standards and in the prescribed amount of time.
Other Duties:
1.Assist in stocking supply closet and reports any shortages.
2.Assist in other positions in the department
3.Assist in moving furniture.
4.Deliver items requested by guests to the rooms.
5.Assist guest by giving directions or information regarding the resort and the Big Island.
Working Conditions:
Works indoors in guest rooms with or without air-conditioning.
Work Hours:
Able to work shifts and days determined Executive Housekeeper or Assistant.
Equipment Use:
Housekeeping cart to transport linen and supplies
Mental and Physical Demands:
Able to clean rooms according to standards and in the allotted time.
Communication Demands:
Must be able to verbally communicate to employees, managers and guests.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Must be able to read assignment sheet and directions for proper use of cleaning solutions.
