Position Summary Support activities concerned with the design, programming and installation of electrically submersible pump test systems in all new and existing Borets’ Service Centers outside the Russian market. Job Functions/ Duties (may be assigned other duties by management) - Devise new approaches to technical problems encountered. - Exercise judgment in making selections and adaptations of test systems processes. - Assist in making decisions about test system project management and scheduling. - May directly or indirectly supervise Test System Specialists, designers and drafters. - Perform fundamental test engineering, programming and automation tasks as required. - Physically assist, as required in the fabrication, assembly, installation and commissioning of test equipment and control systems. - Prepare or directs the preparation of detail drawings, schematics and flowcharts - Plan and formulate aspects for the development of drawings, software, procedures, and support documents for service center equipment designs - Modify existing test systems to meet new equipment requirements - Support as required engineering services to ensure software and test system documentation is entered into Windchill and under ECN control. - Responsible for test bench calibration, quality and support instrumentation at all Service Centers outside the Russian market. - Support the design of new tools and equipment required to service and repair ESP Service Center Test Equipment in Service Centers outside the Russian market. Includes test automation, equipment skids, dismantle and assembly benches, instrumentation, etc. - Develop and support test software, documentation and version control of software, test data base, computerized test programs and PLC code for test Automation (Test criteria will be a joint responsibility of SCSG and engineering) - Responsible for supporting the technical and sustaining engineering on Borets test systems for all existing Service Centers outside the Russian market. - Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action. Qualifications/Education Requirements - Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and/or company specific databases. - Good oral and written communication and analytical skills - Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems - Knowledge of computer aided design software to generate electrical and mechanical drawings and diagrams - Must have experience handling multiple projects simultaneously with stringent deadlines, and working in an environment, which requires flexibility, innovation, superb customer service skills, and organization. - Programming proficiency in Visual Basic, C, Ladder Logic Code and National Instruments LabVIEW. - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Computer Science required or equivalent years of directly related experience. - 5+ years of experience of test engineering, analysis, and testing roles preferred. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Balanced exposure to plant environment and normal office environment during the course of normal job duties. Repeatedly required to move about the facility Frequent domestic travel and on call required. Less frequent international travel also required. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, hard hat and safety shoes while in shop environment or on job site. This is a safety sensitive position.
