This recruitment is for Temporary Health Screener positions through UCI's internal temporary service.

UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) is continuously seeking applicants to assist in filling the temporary needs of the UC Irvine Campus in Irvine and the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange. We recruit for this position on an on-going basis in order to build a talent pool of potential candidates.
UCI Temporary Employment Services assists in providing temporary staffing throughout the UCI campus, medical center and satellite facilities. There is no need to submit more than one application to temporary jobs within the calendar year. Any given application to UCI Temporary Employment Services will make you an applicant to all temporary recruitments.

JOB DUTIES: Under supervision, the Health Screener will ask basic health questions to gather information regarding any possible health symptoms or any illness the individual wanting access to the facility may have. The incumbent will be responsible for performing temperature checks and determine whether an individual is eligible to enter the facility or not (40%). The incumbent will perform supervised patient self-collection of COVID-19 specimen (40%) and other COVID-19 related tasks. Will assist in COVID-19 related tasks and responsibilities (20%).

Compensation Range:
$17.53 + (depending on shift)
