Purpose of Job

We are looking for a Technical Marketing Writer who will work closely with our sales, engineering, product, and partners to craft the latest and greatest content for our customers representing APCON as a cutting-edge solution provider.

As a Technical Marketing Writer, you will help optimize content across different markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical marketing background in B2B content and copywriting with a high attention to quality of content.

Responsibilities

  • Writes, edits and maintains technical content such as demos, videos, workshops, tutorials, blogs, and whitepapers to connect APCON’s capabilities to customer needs
  • Contributes to campaigns including white papers, PowerPoints, webinars, events and other lead generation activities
  • Analyzes industry driving forces, competitive trends and customer feedback
  • Works within tight deadlines across multiple projects to execute on our technical marketing content
  • Monitors effectiveness of new and existing technical content and takes the lead on coming up with solutions to improve our strategy, including various testing methods
  • Crafts original copy and clearly articulates the technical aspects of APCON’s solutions
  • Creates compelling RFP/RFQ responses through collaborating with other departments, leading the collection and assembly of materials for proposals, and drafting, editing, and proofreading, ensuring appropriate and accurate messaging

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3+ years’ in a technical marketing role
  • Ability to write and create highly technical content into marketing collateral and assets
  • B2B experience with high-tech products highly desired

  • Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills

  • Must be able to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to prioritize and be flexible in a fast-paced environment

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree

Travel: Occasional travel to alternate facilities

Physical Demands: To perform the duties of this position, you must have the ability to occasionally sit, stand, bend, twist, reach, carry, lift, pull, and push between 1-15 lbs.
