Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Document Management (DM) analyst to support technical editing activities for Proposals.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for ensuring high-quality program documentation by performing technical editing to ensure deliverable template compliance utilizing all Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Responsible for ensuring documentation is clear, concise, and free of errors.
  • Ensure consistency in tense and format of products.
  • Identify and correct usage errors of certain terms and edit for capitalization, spelling, typographical errors, grammatical errors, inconsistency in significant figures, and corrections to indexes, headings, and citations.
  • Responsible for creating locked down working templates for Engineers and Program Managers utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.
  • Coordinate with authors or project managers to ensure proposals are submitted on time and are of the highest professional quality.
  • Must be able to work independently under only minimal supervision, have a high degree of attention to detail, and be trusted to enable on-time quality delivery of all required deliverable documents for multiple projects or proposals in a dynamic work environment.
  • Properly mark classified documents with Distribution, Destruction, and Declassification Information, proper classified markings, and foreign disclosure statements
  • Poperly mark unclassified doucments with The International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR), The Export Administration Regulations EAR and Controlled Unclassifed Markings (CUI)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
    • Strong understaning of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
    • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint knowledge
    • Ability to effectively communicate with proposal leaders and proposal authors
    • DoD Secret Clearance required
  • Document management experience, to include:
    • Understanding of DoD 5010.12-M “Procedures for the Acquisition and Management of Technical Data”

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Ability to work independently under only general direction; have a high degree of attention to detail and be trusted to enable on-time quality delivery of all required deliverable documents for multiple projects in a dynamic work environment
  • Knowledge and experience with SharePoint are preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with technical terminology
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and demonstrate flexibility in daily work

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $65000 - $120500 (salary ranges in other locations could differ). This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
