Headquarters associates in St. Louis and Tempe provide support and expertise to help U.S. and Canada branch teams deliver an ideal client experience. Edward Jones currently has more branch offices than any other financial services firm, and we continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.- Responsible for a team of associates within the Expenditure Management Tax team which processes all branch business licenses and property tax payments
- Provide support and leadership to team members to promote high quality performance and associate development.
- Ensure team responsibilities/objectives are completed timely and accurately.
- Participate and/or lead in department and division projects.
- Develop and maintain effective communications and relationships within Finance and across the firm.
- Prioritize, delegate, and understand controls and workflow.
- Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of department policies and procedures.
- Conduct performance meetings and coach for continuous improvement.
- Identify, propose solutions and implement efficiency improvements.
- Deliver difficult messages to, Financial Advisors, Branch Office Administrators and other associates at the firm within the Accounting Services function.

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in tax accounting field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, V look ups, pivot tables)
- Previous leadership experience considered a plus.
