Community Product Operations plays a critical role in the product life cycle at the Facebook company—from ideation and development, to launch, growth, help, and support. We partner closely with product, engineering, data science and other Global Operations teams to improve the user experience and ensure that every product experience is safe, reliable, and supported at scale. Those who join our teams are very passionate about solving people's issues and are strong advocates for the Facebook community. We need influencers who can align cross-functional partners to ensure the best possible experience for our platforms.Meta is looking for a Taxonomist/Content Architecture specialist that will focus on the strategic planning, design, and implementation of taxonomies to help achieve goals of the Community Help & Education team, such as supporting the categorizing and labeling, machine learning and content understanding systems across all Meta's help products. The crux of this work is in developing, maintaining, growing a taxonomy for a number of complex, many-faceted products while integrating it across several organizations to drive reporting insights. The person in this role will be expected to be an experienced taxonomist able to quickly expand knowledge domains.This is a full time role.
