Employment Type : Full-Time

We are seeking a Tax Analyst to join Lantheus’ Corporate Tax organization. Reporting to the tax manager, the Tax Analyst is involved in preparing the tax provision, tax returns, estimated tax payments, tax-related projects, and other treasury-related projects.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Prepare federal and state and local income tax returns, which includes gathering data and preparing workpapers, income tax estimates, and extension calculations
  • Assist with preparing the ASC740 quarterly and annual tax provisions as well as return-to-provision analyses upon completion of U.S. tax returns
  • Prepare monthly tax entries, supporting documentation, and tax account reconciliations
  • Assist with tax technology and system improvement initiatives
  • Assist with responding to inquiries from tax authorities in connection to tax audits and notices.
  • Assist with taxable income calculations, budgets, and forecasts
  • Prepare monthly sales tax return filings ? Assist Treasury Department with certain monthly operational deliverables
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 2-4 years accounting experience; recent public accounting or publicly traded company’s tax department experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of automated tax software such as OneSource helpful
  • Working knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code and U.S. GAAP
  • Solid communication and organizational skills, proficiency with Excel preferred
  • A team player willing to work in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Previous experience of SOX preferred
