About the Role

As a Technical Recruiting Lead, you will oversee recruitment efforts to identify talented individuals who will help move Finicity forward and make important contributions during this critical time in our growth. You will be responsible for developing strategies to build relationships and access talent within the software engineering and data science communities. Finally, you will look for ways to continuously improve the applicant experience throughout the recruitment process.

This role will consist of direct recruitment and handling of technical requisitions 25% of the time, and managing the team, building and improving process, and planning recruitment strategies 75% of the time.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee the full cycle recruitment process for all requisitions in the US, from pre-recruitment preparation work to post-offer acceptance
  • Collaborate with senior management and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and team goals
  • Develop systems and strategies to ensure an efficient and positive candidate experience
  • Partner with the broader HR team to build efficient and scalable recruiting processes
  • Source active and passive candidates from a variety of sources and communities
  • Manage and coordinate all communication with candidates and hiring managers
  • Prepare candidates for interviewing with specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions and expectation-setting
What You'll Need to be Successful
  • 3-6 years of progressive technical recruiting experience with demonstrable success recruiting for a variety of technical and business operations roles including:
    • Software Engineers
    • Cloud Engineers
    • Data Scientists and Data Engineers
    • Product Managers and Business Analysts
    • Sales and Marketing
  • Previous experience leading, coaching and mentoring a recruiting team of at least two recruiters
  • An expert level of knowledge in all full life-cycle recruiting components including: sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing skills relative to the needs, relationship management and due diligence
  • Demonstrated ability to build a talent acquisition strategy and recruit for a broad range of new business needs in a start-up environment
  • Excellent project management, writing and oral communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and speak to various audiences
  • Ability to quickly learn systems, processes and procedures
  • Experience building and improving recruitment processes recruiting processes
