Job Summary:
Manages the recruiting cycle for the hourly and non-exempt work force
Works with managers and supervisors to understand staffing needs for stage 1 and stage 2.
Sources candidates through social media—understands recruitment marketing tools, Manages social Media Tools
Screens applicants, makes recommendations for moving candidates forward in interview process, manages interview schedules. Assists candidates from application process to onboarding.
Liaison with community for hiring events as well as increasing visibility in community
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals for hourly and non-exempt positions
- Attends all hiring events virtual and in person, point of contact for college recruiting
- Creates and implements Employment Marketing Strategies to attract passive job seekers
- Develops and implements strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization
- Manages Social Media recruiting tools to attract candidates and search data bases
- Maintains requisitions and data in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and updates Rembrandt website
- Works with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria
- Assists candidates with application process, screens candidates’ resumes and job applications
- Conducts interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates
- Assesses applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
- Participates in community hiring events and serves as a liaison to increase visibility in the community, by working with community organizations.
- Acts as a point of contact and builds influential candidate relationships during the selection process. Assists the candidates through the onboarding process.
- Follows up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process
- Tracks and reports key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
- 4-year degree in business related field or 5 years proven recruiting experience
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check, etc.)
- Excellent bi-lingual (English and Spanish) communication skills: speaking, writing and reading
- Excellent public relation skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to read, understand and effectively communicate information through writing and speaking so others will understand
- Ability to lead, offer ideas, make decisions and teach/coach others
- Strong problem resolution skills and the ability to effectively respond to questions, concerns and complaints from department leaders, internal customers and employees
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Knowledge and understanding of human resource laws
- Independent Self-Starter/Team Payer with attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and excellent organization skills
- Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Social Media and Internet
Preferred:
- 5 years of experience in Staffing/Recruiting, Human Resources, or related field.
