POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Talent Acquisition Recruiter for non-exempt positions for our Memphis, TN and Olive Branch, MS Distribution Centers, the successful candidate will ensure that a well-qualified, diverse candidate pipeline exists for key jobs throughout the year and our peak seasons. This recruiter will leverage multiple candidate sources including military, local colleges and universities, and other channels that align with warehouse and skilled labor hiring needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with the HR Department, Talent Acquisition team members and business unit leadership. Our non-exempt recruitment includes all facets of the recruiting processes including advertising, sourcing, organizing and managing hiring events, interviewing candidates and scheduling interviews with the hiring managers. It also includes pre-employment processes, reference checks, reporting, tracking, and other metrics activities using our internal applicant tracking system, email, and MS Office tools.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for non-exempt positions in the Distribution Centers including high-volume recruiting during our peak seasons (June-August and September-December): including developing job descriptions, posting ads, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, interviewing, extending offers, background screening procedures, scheduling pre-employment drug and physical screening, conduct background, Drug Screen and reference checks.
  • Identifies recruiting sources by determining current needs; locating and evaluating sources; matching job qualifications and requirements with likely candidate sources.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process (i.e. communicates status, answers questions).
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determines applicant requirements by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; arranging community tours.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
IND-MS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED and four years of experience in a Talent Sourcing or Recruiting position
  • Minimum of three years previous HR administrative, office, data entry, or clerical work experience
  • Minimum of three years working with Excel to run reports and format data
  • Experience working with an ATS, E-verify and other recruiting tools.
  • Thorough understanding of EEO legislation and other applicable recruiting laws
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • Proven ability to handle high volume workload in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong written/verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Six plus years of relevant experience with full-cycle exempt recruiting, utilizing social media and sourcing techniques for recruiting, conducting interviews and managing pre-employment processes.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Experience scheduling, organizing and implementing college recruiting efforts for both internship and full-time positions.
  • Ability to analyze data and produce reports to assist operations.
