Integration Solution, Developer - Consultant

Are you a talented technology professional focusing on the architecture, design and development of service-oriented architecture and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems? Do you enjoy being part of a collaborative team working with modern tools and products helping clients achieve efficiencies and simplifying technology integration working with custom solutions? As an Integration Solution Developer, you’ll assist clients in finding and implementing custom integration solutions using cutting edge tools and products.

Work you’ll do

As a core team member, you will work within a project team, to create custom software solutions that help our clients solve problems, expand market share, improve operations, and grow their business. You won’t work alone. You’ll work alongside smart, dynamic colleagues. You’ll engage in -

  • Being the integrator between the client and our Deloitte teams
  • Developing system requirements, designing the solution, coding, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions

The Team


Systems Engineering

Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.


Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.


Integration Solution Developer Consultants are required to have:


  • 4 years of relevant consulting or industry experience;
  • 1 year of experience participating in large-scale, full-life cycle Integration implementations (including cloud integration solutions)
  • At least 2 years of experience managing enterprise-wide requirements definitions and management methodologies;
  • 2 years of experience participating in large business Integration efforts and being a member of a project team through all phases of the project lifecycle;
  • At least 2 years of experience in integration tools and methodologies from IBM, Oracle, Webmethods, Apache Camel, MuleSoft or Dell Boomi. Should have experience working on at least one tools.
  • Experience with different integration patterns and architecture concepts (Pub-Sub, Messaging, Micro-Services)
  • Travel up to 80% (While 80% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice);
  • Limited Immigration sponsorship maybe available;

In addition, successful Consultants will have the following preferred background:


  • Strong software development methodology understanding, and experience assisting in the design, development or testing of a technology integration project;
  • Exposure to different project methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, SaFE; tools and process including CI/CD pipelines, PM tools – eg. Jira, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, Jama
  • Strong analytical skills with thorough understanding of how to interpret client business needs and translate them into services and operational requirements;
  • Experience or passion for implementing integration solutions using cloud environment such as on IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • A bachelor’s degree or the equivalent (preferably in technology or a related discipline);
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
