What You'll Do
At Ignyte, our Business Analysts are passionate about creating innovative data-driven solutions across various industries that address critical business problems. You'll be challenged daily as you wear multiple hats to work on multiple projects in both a development and client-facing role.
As a Business Analyst, we give you the opportunity to create your own career path based on your interests, the skills you already possess as well as the skills you'd like to have. Your everyday tasks will involve working with prominent start-up CEOs as well as some of the biggest clients in the DC area from the top of Capitol Hill to the bottom of DC’s metro system to understand their business challenges. You’ll work side-by-side with former Big-4 consultants to develop, envision, and construct future-state technology solutions that address our clients’ needs.

What We're Looking For
- College senior graduating in 2021 or graduated in 2020 from a four-year college or university with a technical degree (information systems/technology, engineering, finance, computer science, economics, management, etc.)
- 1-2 summers’ internship experience in a similar business or technical role
- Ability to create high-quality presentations, models, and analyses, and other deliverables and be able to present them to clients
- Ability to gather, validate, and analyze requirements for their viability against the project objective
- Possession of technical competencies to develop creative and innovative solutions that address client’s business problems
- Ability to analyze and synthesize information to draw accurate, logical, and actionable conclusions
- Eagerness to assist in proposal writing for business development opportunities as requested
- Hard working, self-motivated individuals who are comfortable handling ambiguity and able to successfully complete tasks within deadlines with limited supervision
- Experience working in small- to medium-sized teams to achieve project goals and complete major deliverables
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with colleague and executives alike
- Creative, “big picture” thinking while maintaining keen attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong computer skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
What We’d Love to See (But Not Required)
- Ability to Learn new technology and open in developing new technical skillset such as low-code platform
- Experience in designing use cases, categorizing requirements, and creating functional and requirement specifications documents
- Ability to prepare end user documentation, training manuals, and knowledge repositories for the user community
- Familiarity with data analytics and visualization software, including knowledge of SQL
- Basic proficiency in programming languages including but not limited to C++, Java, Python, R
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including live video recording or digital video editing capabilities
