Position Title: Supervisor, 2nd. ShiftReports to: Gainer, MikeLocation: Fontana, CA The purpose of the job is to manage/supervise the day to day functions of the 2nd shift Operations of the facility by providing support to both the Shipping and Receiving departments. Working with the support of Team Leads, this position focuses on receiving, storing and putaway of finished goods accurately and timely as well as the picking of product to meet shipping orders in the Fontana, CA distribution center. Provide safe working environment Provide direction to the department Team Leads Ensure that finished goods are received, transloaded, stored in a timely and accurate manner Ensure customer orders are accurately picked, staged, and loaded in accordance with customer requirements. Review production reports Improve receiving/shipping efficiencies Supervise Inbound/Outbound department workforce Monitor and coordinate temporary staffing employees to ensure productivity and safety Ensure personnel are in proper positions to maximize workflow Communicate with 1st shift operations on a daily basis to prioritize workflow General understanding and knowledge of OSHA regulations and company Safety Excellence and Leadership (SEAL) processes General understanding of all areas of the operation (Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse) Ability to lead, supervise and motivate employees Proficient in SAP & PkMS, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc…. Other duties as assigned by department manager
