As part of the announced acquisition of Eaton Hydraulics, White Drives Motors & Steering will be divested from Danfoss by the end of 3Q 2021 to ensure all regulatory approvals are met.

This position is expected to remain with White Drives Motors & Steering. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Danfoss’ plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Danfoss when the transaction closes, the new owner of White Drive Motors & Steering will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

Danfoss is looking for a Supply Chain Planner with technical and SAP background who is passionate towards actively driving the production process to leverage the talent and optimize the performance using knowledge about products and processes. You will be responsible for the planning and performance analysis of our Motors production and we offer you a platform to continue your career with developing your skills in a fast growing organization and environment.

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will utilize your skills to support Danfoss Power Solutions in production planning process. You will be responsible for planning production based on orders to plan manufacturing process according to availability of materials and parts. Doing this, you will be in close cooperation with other departments out of the Operations, Supply Chain and other support functions to ensure best manufacturing performance and customer satisfaction. Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, control and coordinate the production flow to secure highest efficiency and contribution
  • Manage master and transaction data in SAP and shop-floor IT system
  • Align with sales department on the monthly production plan.
  • Develop a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed to meet predicted completion date
  • Communicate with sales department & production management on delivery commitment & fulfillment including early warning & escalation process
  • Create, track and prioritize production orders to ensure timely delivery to the customer
  • Ensure shop floor inventory targets are met through proper supervision of the planning functions and coordination of the relevant activities with Logistics, Production, Engineering and other support departments
  • Support troubleshooting for issues that occur during production, including staff shortages and machinery malfunctions
  • Support planning and coordination of preventive maintenance
  • Preparation and execution of the shift change with the manufacturing supervisor
  • Post production costing analysis, evaluation and identification of continuous improvement potentials
  • Monitors and report operational KPIs like yield, production and raw material costs
  • Prepare reports about production processes for upper management and suggests ways to improve efficiency
  • Daily output, yield and delivery performance tracking & KPI catch up plan development

Background & Skills
  • Secondary or University degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or related
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within Supply Chain or production planning
  • SAP and PPS-Systems knowledge is mandatory
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel medium level)
  • Motivation to get to know production processes, planning and supply chain, also from technical point of view
  • Knowledge and experience of supply chain systematics, planning & controlling, understand of capacity planning
  • Continuous improvement and lean production mentality
  • Analytical skill and sensitive to numbers
  • Team player; managing conflict with constructive confrontation
