Primary function of this position is to provide customer supply chain coordination. Summary of responsibilities include monitoring, communicating, and updating information such as part and route data, shipment expedite planning, and support transportation metrics reporting. This position works closely with the onsite Logistics Coordinator, customer Planning Department and the BLS Transportation Department as well as, other carriers to implement customer plans, routes, and schedules. This position requires professional communication, computer, and presentation skills. Employee represents the Company in a positive image with our employees, customers, and community in a safe and ethical manner. SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED Must possess strong interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate good communication skills both written and oral. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects. Must possess excellent personal computer skills and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products software i.e.; Word, Outlook, and Excel. Knowledge of transportation management software preferred. Must have strong data entry accuracy skills. Requires a Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree and equivalent experience. 3-5 years in related work experience in Logistics or Supply Chain industry.
