About the Position: The position is located in the US Army, Integrated Logistics Support Center - Combat Maneuver and Recovery PSID and Force Pojection PSID. The ILSC provides full service logistics support to the U.S. Army's most important weapon system, the Soldier. The Center manages and oversees a comprehensive, integrated program for major and secondary Department of Defense items and insures supportability and operational readiness of Combat Maneuver and Recovery items. 25% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 grade level in the Federal service which includes (1) Review and analyze organizational elements to recommend plans and major changes to special projects, mission requirements, etc.; (2) Direct the development, execution, and review of formal program and workload forecast schedules/ programs consistent with established plans and policies (i.e. procurement requirements, funding, etc.) to mitigate changes and revisions thereto; (3) Brief agencies and commands of program developments that affect distribution, logistics, and support planning to include required planning for special maintenance or support facilities; (4) Interpret technical policy, procedures and regulations to ensure adherence to schedules and priorities; and (5) Brief leadership or key officials on program status and evaluate policies and proposals involving the assumption of new logistics support missions or programs.
